Here at Mount of the Holy Cross Lutheran Church, we don’t take our proximity to high mountain rivers lightly. Our baptisms are grand events – and we believe being welcomed into the family of God should be!
With water flowing from Gore Creek and Beaver Creek and words from Pastor Scott and the church community, baptisms take place outdoors as conditions permit.

We at Mount of the Holy Cross believe love should be celebrated!
Surrounded by God’s magnificent creation, our chapels bring us closer to Him and to each other. In this way, we offer our chapels as locations for weddings.
Both our Vail Chapel and our Beaver Creek Chapel are well-appointed to host wedding ceremonies. Amenities in both include piano, organ, basement space to get ready, restrooms, cry room, and space for the guests.
